I went to Freed-Hardeman University this past week for the Lectureships and sat in on all the Youth Ministry workshops. Interesting note, Pepsi-Co. gave $500,000 to a group that turned around and gave $2,000,000 to defeat Propostition 8 in California. Interesting that a soft drink company has that much at stake in homosexual "rights". What, if homosexuals can't marry, they won't buy Pepsi products? There is something more to this, but I'm not sure what...yet.

I'm too old for this

O.K. I admit it. I'm no rock star and I dance exactly the way a 39 year old white guy dances...but that will not stop me from hosting our first Rock Band and Dance Dance Revolution party tonight. I hope we have a great time and I hope to see you there at 6 pm. Bring $3 for food and plan to stay until about 8:30. See ya!

New Year's Eve 2008

If you weren't there, you missed it. We had a blast. We ate, played dueling pictionary, hide and go seek in the building, watched Dark Knight, shot off firecrackers and had a devo. The fun was over at 1:00. IT was great spending time with other Christians as we welcomed in the new year. Missed you but hopefully we will see you at the next event.
